Carp Fishing Charity Event Supporting C-R-Y in Maidstone, Kent
Carp Social | Feature Date: 18th October 2021
Community Angling Event Raises Funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young Charity
Carp Social was proud to support the Clayton Olson Annual Charity Fundraising Event, held in September 2023 at Ripple Manor in Maidstone, Kent. The event brought together anglers, supporters, and the local community for an evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness for a vital cause.
The fundraiser took place from Saturday 30th September (18:30) through to Sunday 1st October 2023 (02:00) in support of C-R-Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young), a UK charity focused on preventing sudden cardiac deaths in young people through awareness, screening, and research.
As part of the fundraising efforts, Carp Social alongside Chalet De L’ile generously donated French fishing holiday prizes to the charity auction. These donations helped raise hundreds of pounds, contributing directly to the overall success of the event and supporting the ongoing work of C-R-Y.
Events like this highlight the importance of community-driven fundraising and the positive impact the angling community can have when coming together for a meaningful cause.
If you would like to support C-R-Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young) or find out more about upcoming fundraising events, you can visit their official website for further information.
And if you attended the event and are interested in learning more about carp fishing holidays in France with Carp Social, feel free to get in touch with the team to discuss available venues, packages, and future trips.
