OVERVIEW
Luxemont is a picturesque 12.5 acre gravel pit set in the heart of the Champaign Region in France near the small village of Martinicourt Goncourt. At approximately 3 1/2 hours drive from Calais, we feel Luxemont really is in the ideal location for a French carp fishing holiday venue.
This venue is best suited to a maximum of 8 anglers and with 9 spacious swims available, there’s usually the opportunity to move swim should you fancy a change of scenery.
FISH STOCK
The lake is stocked with approximately 200 – 250 carp with an average weight of 25lbs. The original stock contains some beautiful scaly carp up to 30lb and it’s estimated there are 13 -15 carp over 50lb+ up to 60lb at certain times of the year. Poisson chat and crayfish are present in the lake.
FACILITIES & FOOD
To ensure maximum comfort during your weeks stay and with the modern carp angler in mind from the outset, Luxemont boats large swims, anglers lodge and washing facilities.
The anglers lodge is equipped with cooking facilities, fridge and freezer, electrical charging points. The washing facilities include a toilet and shower. Carp care equipment such as landing nets, unhooking mats and slings are provided however you’re welcome to bring your own should you wish.
A bailiff is typically on site 24/7 to assist you throughout your weeks stay.
On occasion Luxemont offer a meal plan from £150 per person per week.
The full meal plan includes:
A choice of breakfast baguette (sausage, bacon and egg) or French breakfast (3 warm French pastries) delivered to your swim. Evening meal as from the menu below to be eaten at the lodge or delivered to you swim.

Sunday – Roast of the week with veg, mash and gravy
Monday – Chilli with rice
Tuesday – Lasagna with salad and chips
Wednesday – A choice of take away kebab/burger with chips etc
Thursday – Curry with rice, poppadoms and naan bread
Friday – Bangers and mash with peas and onion gravy
The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away and the nearest tabac is 15 minutes. There is also a lovely town 15 minutes away if you fancy a day away from fishing or lunch in a bar.
Food and accommodation are chargeable extras. Requests for these additional services should be relayed to the Provider prior to your arrival. Payment for food and accommodation is made directly to the Provider on arrival in euros.
TACKLE & BAIT
Luxemont keep stock of essentials terminal tackle and bait items on site, just in case you forget or run out of anything.

MAP & DIRECTIONS
The lake is approximately 3.5 hours drive from Calais.
Directions will be provided on conformation of booking.
RULES
- Bookings are from Saturday (12pm) til the following Saturday (10am) French Time.
- No permanently fixed leads
- No braided main line
- No Maggots
- No guns
- No fires (BBQ’s allowed but do not place them directly on the grass)
- No cutting back any bankside vegetation
- Maximum of three rods per angler
- A life jacket must be worn if you need to use the boat
- Landing nets, Mats and Slings are provided however you can bring your own if you wish.
- Any particle baits used must be purchased on site. Do not bring your own particles to the lake.
Any person fishing or otherwise at a L’Evasion Fishery is responsible for his/her possessions and belongings. The owners of L’Evasion will accept no responsibility for any loss or damage caused whilst on the property.
You are not permitted to be on the property before or after the times and dates you have booked.
