RULES

1. You are expected to arrive at the waterfront after 11:00 AM. This is due to the departure of other guests, who must have left before 10:00 AM that same day. This gives us time to make any necessary arrangements.
2. No spots can be reserved. The spots will be drawn at 12:00 noon unless all anglers agree on where to cast. If you arrive after 12:00 noon, the remaining spots will be shown to you.
3. You may fish at Le Vivier with a maximum of three rods per person.
4. The use of a large unhooking mat and a landing net (minimum 42″) is mandatory.
5. Only one floating sling may be used per angler.
6. The use of tiger nuts or any other type of nut is prohibited. Crushed (ground) nuts are also not permitted.
7. Boilies and pellets may be used in unlimited quantities. Please be mindful of your catch and other anglers.
8. Swimming is not allowed on the water.
9. The use of braided mainline is prohibited. This line is only permitted when using a spod/marker rod.
10. The main line must have a minimum breaking strain of 15 lbs (6.8 kilograms).
11. Use at least a size six hook.
12. Every angler is required to have a carp care kit and use it after every hooking. Anglers are also expected to treat any fish that are injured.
13. Leaving fishing rods unattended is strictly prohibited. So stay near your rods, or reel them in if you’re planning a walk, for example.
14. The use of a rubber rowing boat and/or one with an electric motor is not permitted.
15. Bait boats (radio-controlled boats) are also not allowed.
16. The use of a barbecue is permitted, but a campfire is prohibited.
17. Glass bottles are prohibited for safety reasons. We recommend using cans or plastic bottles.
18. Keep your spot clean and tidy at all times to avoid pests.
19. Respect nature and other anglers around you. Also be mindful of noise pollution, such as loud conversations and/or music.
