Returned home from a first visit to Authentico lake in France. We wasn't to sure what to expect as there isn't much written or stuff on YouTube about the lake but was pleasantly surprised on our arrival. The owner was on site to meet us along with the particle that we had all ordered. After a brief chat with him we had a walk around the venue, making a swim choice was going to be made harder this trip as all the swims offered so much and there natural appearance was right up our street. Facilities where more than adequate and the owner sorted takeaways for the first and last night of our trip. The fishing wasn't easy as we experienced temperatures reaching almost 30 degrees and also a lot of naturals for the fish to gorge on. Fortunately we all managed to catch and I even ended up with proper old gravel pit whacker at 64lb. Booking again through Carp Social was a breeze and makes everything easy with great communication. Highly recommended the venue and will definitely return one day.

We had a really good week at Chalet De Lile. We booked the lake between three of us and caught 37 carp in total up to 52lb. Len caught a PB 40lb 12oz and Danny caught a 46lb mirror carp and a 52lb grass carp. We got bites from the start! Grafting to find spots in the boat and applying just enough bait to get a bite was very effective, as were the RG Baits wafters. We've booked with Carp Social for the autumn, highly recommend them.

The Le Coly bailiff was a great bloke, I really got on well with him and he was very accommodating. Food was good and no complaints at all really. Tough weeks fishing. I suppose otherwise we'd call it catching.

I would advise everyone that loves carp fishing to get in contact with Carp Social as they sorted everything out for me and I had the best trip ever.

“We had a good trip! We had 10 carp between us weighing in between 7lb and 51lb 8oz. The average weight was about 29lb,which surprised us a bit being this low but we got two over 20kg.“

Rich and I had a wicked time at Lac Du Coron. It's a lovely little lake, so quiet and we had a few carp out between us! The total was 24 fish for the week including 8x 30's up to 37lb 80z. They were very spooky carp so we had to stalk during the day as they were very active! It was a good week all round.

We have just returned from a week at Luxemont lake. Seven of us had booked the lake exclusive and believe me it didn’t disappoint. Firstly, the bailiff was brilliant from the first to last day of our trip. Now for the fishing part. The week started of slow with a cold North Easterly wind but as the week progressed the weather and fishing got better and better. We had one lad finish the week on 17 fish, 15 of them being over 30lb but the weeks best capture was an outstanding 47lb mirror. All seven of our group caught fish which made us all happy we would definitely return and are already looking at booking for next year!

My friend and I fishing Peg 4 on Euro Aqua in November after booking through Carp Social. We were given very good advice by the staff at Carp Social on hotels to book for the long drive to the lake from Calais. It was a cold week with snow and ice during the week but we caught carp up to 65lb. The peg and its facilities were excellent with power and a well stocked fridge. The club house and food was excellent as was the showers and toilets. We had a very enjoyable session.”

The venue is basic but has some amazing fish. They were all in pristine condition. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the lake. Now we have fished it we would definitely approach it in a different way. One bit of advice would be to fish with 30lb plus line due to the gravel bars and mussels, this resulted in us loosing at least 4 decent carp in mid water. The crays were not a problem and we could fish with boilies however this did result in me catching 2 of the diamond back sturgeon. Overall, great venue. Not a runs water, but we knew that and the quality of fish were excellent. I would highly recommend this venue. Only down side is no showers or running water at the lake.”

“We booked Lac Charmant on a lake exclusive and after all is said and done, I can’t fault it. What a week! The stamp of fish we caught was incredible. Collectively we had 31 fish, 7x 50’s to 56lb, 8x 40’s, the rest were high 30’s and a couple of 20’s. Looking back we all caught 2x 50’s each, which was a right result considering the rain was relentless this trip. I’d just like to say the owner couldn’t have been more accommodating and knowledgeable. He was very helpful and made himself available at all hours. He takes a decent picture too! “The kids loved the swimming pool, there were plenty of small fish in the lake to keep everyone occupied and the owners of Les Croix were lovely. We caught about half a dozen carp ranging from 6lb up to 42lb, which wasn’t bad going considering we only fished a few hours during the day. I’d say it’s exactly as you described it. “We all thought Le Glandon was a beautiful looking lake. Unfortunately for us the fishing was not as good, we think mainly because of weather. We had a few decent fish. “Well what can I say about Palm-Tree it was absolutely amazing. I lost count of the number of fish I caught. My first ever trip to Thailand and my first time ever fishing for big fish. The guides were amazing they really helped me. I caught lots of specimen fish including Aripaima to 180lb, Siamese carp to 200lb and another 2 Siamese carp over 100lb, lots of Redtails to 50lb and lots of other species to 50lb. The place is run very well and they can’t do enough for you. I’m definitely going to return next January. What an experience. I booked my trip through Carp Social, credit to them also. “It was a tough weeks angling at Leon Lake last week, which is what we’d anticipated from this big fish water. We had bites throughout the week and landed carp to 45lb+ within the first couple of days. The venue is stunning and the atmosphere was amazing. There was one other angler on the lake and he’d traveled all the way from Belgium, so the lake is popular with the European anglers. The water was 27oc and unfortunately the carp began to spawn mid week. This resulted in us catching large numbers of bream, some up to 15lb, which were obviously gorging on the carp eggs. Had the carp not spawned I’m sure we’d of had more carp bites. We also lost a couple of fish to “cut offs” over the bars and we suspect these were the larger specimens we’d been waiting for. Now we’ve got a score to settle. We’ll be back!”

“This is the second year I have booked a two week fishing trip to France with Carp Social and this trip did not let me down. The hosts are both very nice people and very helpful with information about the lake which is a beautiful 2 acre lake with some stunning fish. Although I was there for two weeks I took my wife and granddaughter out during the day, so I only really fished for 9 days but managed 8 fish in total. The last two days of the trip the carp spawned again for the second time in a month but that’s carp fishing for you. The lake is difficult, not for the lazy fisherman and I highly recommend this venue.”

The lake is just stunning, so well kept, facilities are amazing. “Just got back from Chalet De L’ile. What can I say about this lake and its owner? Only that the lake is stunning in its lovely surrounding's and the owner is totally amazing and helpful to the tenth degree. The fishing last week was hard due to the hot weather but the bailiff was brilliant at locating spots for us to fish to. Listen to the guy as he knows his stuff and will put you on fish. Also don’t over complicate thing's as simple tactics will catch you fish. This lake is up and coming and by no means easy but hard work and effort will reward you. Use the lakes bait as the fish seem to love it. This is a proper survive and drive with just the basics but us fishermen have all the mod cons to make life a little easier on the bank. All in all we had a fantastic week and everything you need for provisions is only a few miles away. We will definitely go back to this lake in the future.”

"Had a great time and caught some amazing fish. It was hard going with the weed and heat but once we located the spots they were happy to feed on we started getting runs. I think the end total was 28 carp to 45lbs and I also bagged two cats at 22lb and 27lb. The fish were stunning and all in great condition. The carp just 'turned off'. We had only one decent run all week. Our only catch was a small perch I somehow tempted on some sweetcorn when I reeled one the lines in.
